A gift from the team that isn't a mug.

Boss's Day gifts are usually chosen in a hurry and forgotten as fast. A framed artwork of the sky above the company's first day, or the day they took the team on, says the team noticed what they built.

You give us a date, a time and a place. We compute the point that was directly overhead at that moment, the zenith, and match the real, catalogued galaxy nearest to it that is still unassigned. The artwork is a telescope photograph of that galaxy, finished for print, with the place, the date and up to sixty characters of your words beneath it, in a black wood box frame behind acrylic glazing.

• The company's founding date, at the city where it began.
• The day they joined or became the leader.
• A milestone: the first customer, the product launch, the office opening.

The dedication fits a short line from the team: "With thanks from all of us", a name and a year.

The same artwork works for a company anniversary, a retirement or a client thank-you. Boss's Day in the United States is October 16.
