A gift for the first apartment
Graduates move. This goes with them: a framed artwork of the galaxy above their graduation ceremony, or the day they were born, for the first wall that is really theirs.
You give us a date, a time and a place. We compute the point that was directly overhead at that moment, the zenith, and match the real, catalogued galaxy nearest to it that is still unassigned. The artwork is a telescope photograph of that galaxy, finished for print, with the place, the date and up to sixty characters of your words beneath it, in a black wood box frame behind acrylic glazing.

Which moment

- The ceremony, at the time and place on the programme.
- The day they were born, for a gift from parents.
- The day they got in, for those who remember the letter.
Words beneath it
Their name and the year, the university, or a line from you: "The sky was always the limit."
