A proposal with a story
The ring answers what. This answers why: the galaxy above the night it began, framed with four words of your choosing beneath it.
You give us a date, a time and a place. We compute the point that was directly overhead at that moment, the zenith, and match the real, catalogued galaxy nearest to it that is still unassigned. The artwork is a telescope photograph of that galaxy, finished for print, with the place, the date and up to sixty characters of your words beneath it, in a black wood box frame behind acrylic glazing.

How people use it

- Unwrapped at home, with the question as the dedication.
- Hung on the wall before they come home.
- Given after the proposal, with the date of the yes.
