Galaxy Origins
Why it works when nothing else does
People who have everything have usually bought the best version of most things. What they cannot buy is something that only exists because of their own life. A Galaxy Origins print starts there: a date, a time and a place that matter to them, and the real galaxy closest to the point directly overhead at that moment.
It is a telescope photograph of that galaxy, resolved and graded for print, framed with their place, their date and your words. Its catalogue number and coordinates are printed on it and can be checked in the NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database. Each galaxy is assigned once.
Moments that work
- The day they were born, at their birthplace. A birthday gift no one else can give.
- The night they met their partner, if you know when and where.
- The day a company was founded, a first deal closed, a first house bought.
- The day a child or grandchild arrived.
If you only know the date, a best guess at the time still gives a real galaxy that was overhead then.
