01 / Christmas gift for her
More than a present
She will open many gifts this Christmas. This one is about the two of you: the galaxy above the night you met,
your first Christmas together or your wedding.
You give us a date, a time and a place. We compute the point that was directly overhead at that moment,
the zenith, and match the real, catalogued galaxy nearest to it that is still unassigned. The artwork is a
telescope photograph of that galaxy, finished for print, with the place, the date and up to
sixty characters of your words beneath it, in a black wood box frame behind acrylic glazing.
